Irrespective of how this finishes there is clearly a lot wrong at Celtic Park. The style of football is dire but the behind the scenes stuff doesn’t help either. January has to be spectacular because if it’s not Der Hun will win the league if Celtic don’t improve and improve rapidly.

I think every setback becomes a referendum on the summer transfer window & the wider question of club/board ambition. I was hoping Rodgers’ coaching ability would mask squad weaknesses (in the league now, it’s not really possible in Europe) until Christmas but that’s a couple of lame/tame draws today & away to Hibs after the Ibrox win provided some breathing space. Sure Celtic have often had narrow & unimpressive “take the win & move on” type displays in the immediate aftermath of an international window when lads have been off in Asia, South/Central America & elsewhere, but it’s hard not to feel quite irked about the state of the squad. A good few downgrades & a sprinkling of not really good enoughs & unproven young lads.

I hear you but the Rodgers return has been very flat so far , it’s like the team isn’t fully believing it nor is the gaffer .
They all appear a bit distracted
