Celtic v Raith Rovers

He was seen as a potential star hurler for Saint Finbarr’s

That game tonight will exorcise Celtic’s demons from the 1994 final .

Ireland’s shame.

Is young Kabia still at Livingston ??

He is. Injured at the moment though

Are they doing the semi-final draw on the programme tonight?

I’ve turned the TV off and am having some quiet time.

We got St Johnstone. I didn’t see the other side of the draw so not sure who the huns or Hibs got.

Toughest draw possible against the double cup holders. At least it’ll be at a neutral venue.

@Corksfinedtboy is Varian a distinctly Cork name?

Wasn’t Ger Varian by any chance?
He’d be 62 ish now

2 Feckin dirty side’s :blush:think Temple folded ( might be wrong)

I thought Scales looked decent last night. Seemed comfortable on the ball and more mobile that I thought he might be. Would still see him as more of a centre back in the long run

His pace will surprise a few too

I think he’ll be particularly useful when Juranovic is playing right back. We’re very small with Taylor or Montgomery and Juranovic as full backs but Ralston and Scales should improve us on crosses to the back post and at set pieces

Juranovic seems to have taken Ralston’s spot which I think is really harsh.

Be interesting to see who gets the left back spot, we have had 4 different players at left back in the past 4 or so games - Juranovic, Bolingoli, Montgomery and Scales. Taylor had surgery so is probably out for another month or so?

Ralston played last night though and Juranovic came on as a winger. I think Juranovic on the left and Ralston on the right is the best combination at the moment.

It seems to be more or less shoehorning Juranovic in.

Don’t get me wrong he’s a good player and well capable of playing at left back but at the end of the day he’s a right back. I’d like to see Scales get a start at the weekend and see how he does. Hopefully Johnston is back as we could really do with some attacking alternatives on the bench. Winning the next two league games are vital before the international break.

I’d say Taylor will be closer to two months after the surgery
