Yeah agree with that player assessment. It’s a proper title race now - Rangers are very well drilled, organised and committed, and they have some talented players. That midfield structure has gotten the better of Celtic on more than one occasion now.
Annoying to see Celtic players being a bit meek and getting shunted off the ball, not to mention the careless and poor play at various stages. Forrest and Christie were massive disappointments. We rode our luck defending set pieces in the League Cup Final but got caught today.
It’s worrying that they looked a more cohesive unit than us. Maybe we’ve been relying on individual pieces of class from the likes of Edouard and Christie at times this season.
And celtic aren’t. They’ve gone backwards after the usual change of manager bounce.
Agreed… Tho he’ll have Champions League football next year which will be another bow in his quiver
I don’t agree at all. We have more points than this time last season and did better in Europe. No doubt they’ve improved.
We have been comprehensively outplayed by sevco two games in a row. Lennon wouldn’t get within an asses roar of managing any other decent club.

Rogic hasn’t played well in months unfortunately. Wasn’t even a regular in Brendan’s first season really. A talented player but not really reliable. I’d no problem with the changes. The formation change was worth a go and did at least help Frimpong. Ntcham deserved a chance to contribute and his quick feet are always useful in these games. Griffiths looks done but was a very tight offside call on him and it was worth a go.

Going to a back three with Bitton wasn’t the right call imnvho. It was another defensive player when we needed to score. It had some benefits in freeing up Frimpong but it seems a bit off that you end up using all three subs when chasing the game and none of them is Rogic.
