If we had Var…

He will have a aneurysm if he keeps going on about it.

Johnston has Tavernier on toast.

Andy Walker must think Edouard is an octopus.

Edouard dropping deep has given them a problem because they’re man to man when we have the ball and their midfield 5 are still pressing in their assigned zones and the two centre backs don’t want to follow him out. He’s the one able to get in space now.

The last 15 minutes of that was rip roaring stuff

Proper old school

That’s all I’ve seen

Is Johnston the Irish-ish lad?

That was a very poor start but think we’ve been fine since about 20/25 mins and have dominated from just before the goals. Getting Edouard on the ball has opened the game up for Christie and Johnston and McGregor driving forward. Jamesie not really at it today.

Yeah. Irish qualified.

Celtic will win this handily enough. Sevco have shot their bolt

Christie is having a bit of a shocker in fairness, he’s lost the ball countless times and his decision making has been really poor.

I’d have Ntcham on for Brown, Brown is off the pace and on on a yellow card. They will be targeting him now and the referee will be under pressure.

Poor half by Celtic. Need to get Mikey Johnston in it more.

I presume referee Kevin Clancy is a Rangers fan

Very Protestant sounding name

Their set up out of possession is the school of Klopp and they do it fairly well. Wide attackers come narrow and block the build up through the centre. So the full back is the out ball but the two centre midfielders on the either side of Davis in the centre shuttle out to their respective side and the wide attackers who are already infield drop back into the space vacated (Jack out to Boli and Kamara to Frimpong). Davis was usually close to Christie in the middle then and we weren’t really able to sustain attacks in their half until Edouard came deep and made it a 2 on 1 in that part of the field.

Yeah his touch was poor early on but felt he improved. Forrest has continued to struggle.

Thought Brown was our best player (other than Jullien actually) when we were struggling generally. Both guilty of silly fouls though. I think he’s too important as a leader of that defensive setup to withdraw though the yellow is a risk.

Kris Boyd.

Commons: Celtic might have deserved the luck for the way they got back into it in the second half.

Boyd: Rangers have been done by a refereeing decision yet again.

These two lads are complete imbeciles.

Yes. You’d expect Christie to be able to run off Davis in that scenario but his touches weren’t good enough. We were guilty of trying to play a killer one touch pass too early before we settled.
