Celtic v Rennes

A response from Kris Commons in training this morning to media rumours that Neil Lennon headbutted him yesterday:

Mulgrew and Ledley are ruled out through injury and Ki is also doubtful. That’s our three best players this season so far. Thomas Rogne is ineligible as the club didn’t register him for the Europa League - seems ridiculous.

FFS, I thought players 21 years of age or under didn’t have to be registered.

Only if they’re developed at the club for a certain period of time - 5 years or something. Rogne only signed a couple of years ago. More mismanagement!

Fucking amateurs. That would leave Majstorovic as our only fit centre half? I’m assuming Wilson and Loovens remain sidelined.

Mark Wilson and Wanyama would be the two obvious stop gaps at centre half. Potentially we could line up with a defence of:

Cha, M. Wilson, Majstorovic, Matthews

:o

BBC report that Mark Wilson is out too.

Loovens and Commons are back in contention though.

El Kaddouri is cup-tied so it may be a back four of:

Cha, Loovens, Dan, Matthews.

Fucking hell, we may as well hand over the 3 points now. I’d prefer to see us give Toshney or someone a go at centre back than playing the two veteran idiots together.

Shocking attitude.

Mark Wilson’s career may be at risk. He’s in London to see a specialist about his chronic knee problems. Last season was the first time in around 4 years where he’s been able to play regularly but his knees are, to put it medically, in bits. Ledley has a calf strain. It’s a hamstring strain for Mulgrew and Ki has a virus.

Mark Wilson has been ruled out for 3 months.

Where’s everyone watching the game?

Forster
Cha
Loovens
Dan
Matthews
McCourt
Wanyama
Kayal
Forrest
Samaras
Stokes

At home mate.

Mon the Hoops

On the bench tonight are Hooper, Zaluska, Commons and a bunch of the u19’s.

An utter disgrace that this is McCourt’s first start in 11 months.

Looking forward to seeing the highly regarded Yann M’Vila in action.

1 down inside 100 seconds.

Nothing learned from Madrid it seems

+1

Are Celtic losing to a packet of indigestion tablets? I wouldn’t be suprised.

Brilliant switch from M’Vila there.

Majstorovic has all the subtlety of a rapist.

anto stokes
