That’s a smashing win.
I was able to see it from just before the penalty onwards and certainly missed the best part of the match. Not much happened after that last goal and I feel cheated.
2 points separating 5th from 10th & only 2 games to the split. Very important win for Aberdeen against Hibs today to keep their top six hopes alive. Celtic have beaten them 2-1 3 times in the league so far this season so would expect another tough game at Celtic Park against them if they make it. That said, it’s probably preferable that they do as the huns would be due a Pittodrie trip having played them at home twice already. They’ve drawn twice with each other in the 3 league games. Huge win for St Johnstone at the bottom too and denting Motherwell’s top six hopes in the process. A lot of pressure on Mark McGhee’s basement dwellers to get something tomorrow now.

Giakoumakis has ended up being a terrific signing after the early doubts. He showed glimpses of good hold up play before Christmas in his cameos but now that he’s knocking goals in too he’s excelling.
