Excellent half.
One moment of minor danger from them when we stopped playing a bit after Hayes took the knock, otherwise we’ve been utterly dominant. Back four are very comfortable, midfield are completely in control and Edouard is having a stormer.
Delighted with how well Ntcham is playing after his absence. He’s been excellent. McGregor was quiet for the first 20 but he’s come into it since and we’re bossing them there.
Hayes hasn’t been brilliant but not at all bad. Set the tone with a cracking tackle early on and he’s generally kept the ball well while allowing Tierney to attack them. Great to see KT back in full flight.

Solid performance so far. Hayes and Lustig have done well depsite reservations, Edouard has been outstanding and we have been on the pigsback in defence, easy peasy. Ntcham is picking up some dangerous positions but McGregor has been pretty quiet as has Forrest.
I’d like to see Burke come on for Hayes now in the second half and see us really go for these monkeys.
