Celtic Vs St Johnstone

@Rocko still refusing to put his hands up and admit he was wrong 12 months ago when he smugly dismissed concerns about Lennonā€™s suitability to the job and his favouritism to certain players.

No mate, I wasnā€™t a big virtue signaller when things were going well. I didnā€™t feel the need to. Iā€™m frustrated as fcuk now though. Even more frustrated that a few wins with little at stake are taking the pressure off Lennon to go.
I was living in Glasgow when the botched experiment with Kenny dalgleish was brought to a finish by an awful run of results. At the time, they were so far off, I was hoping for a few more bad ones to finish him off. Lennon and the team are on life support, and nobody will pull the plug and put them out of our misery.

Virte signalling? What a random phase.

Youā€™ve had no interest in Celtic for years. Thatā€™s been very apparent. Living in Glasgow for a couple of years doesnā€™t make you an authority on anything. It hardly points to a lifelong love of Celtic either.

Everyone agrees Lennon shouldnā€™t be in the job any longer. Those who couldnā€™t enjoy the treble last season and some very good performances and a few great European nights are entitled to pretend they enjoyed being miserable at the time as some sort of evidence of foresight. Iā€™d rather enjoy my team playing well.

Virtue mate.
Calm down and stop mashing the keys.

Iā€™d say donā€™t use phrases you donā€™t understand. Mate.

Oh I do
Mate

So would I. Which is why I wanted Lennon and Lawwell gone.

What was your reason for wanting them retained?

A quadruple treble. You may have missed it.

And what happened this season?

Youā€™re the one that supported Lennon and Lawwell, itā€™s shocking arrogance from you. Have a bit of humility, put your hands up and admit you got it badly wrong. Everything I warned about last season has come to pass.

The SPL has been a two horse race for a generation.
The other horse was hobbled.

Iā€™m sorry you asked a stupid question and got an obvious answer.

I make no apologies for thinking winning a historic quadruple treble was a historic achievement. Not everything was perfect clearly but you donā€™t really do nuance. I thoroughly enjoyed standing on the Curva Sud as we beat Lazio away for example while @flattythehurdler was watching Coronation Street.

But itā€™s ridiculous there hasnā€™t been a change of manager this season. And the longer it goes on the more alarmingly stubborn it appears and you wonder if heā€™ll be kept on next year anyway which is outrageous.

I went to wet Wednesday nights in the likes of Hamilton, Motherwell, Dundee, killy etc, not just taking the ticket off a regular for a big European tie.
Did you go bravely and faithfully mate?
Ah Shure Iā€™ll leave you back to your virtue signalling.

Iā€™m sure you did mate. Hamilton of course were in the bottom divisionm during the Dalglish era but no doubt you went to their games anyway. Spoofer. :joy:

No I asked an obvious question and a quite arrogant and obnoxious answer.

All the issues that were there last season came home to roost this season, the performances have been declining ever since Lennon took over the team, they were pointed out to you and were met your smug and arrogant responses. You can go back and check my posts last year, I said we were a one man band with Edouard and if his form collapses then we are fucked, itā€™s exactly what happened.

Now anyone with a bit of integrity or class about them, who posted what you did last year would come on here and say mea cupla, you got it wrong and you should have held your hands up and said as much. We are in this mess because of Lawwell and Lennon who you have been defending non-stop for years, smugly dismissing anyone who dared point the patently obvious out. Now that patently obvious came home to roost and youā€™re trying to rewrite history. Have a bit of class, hold your hands up and admit you were wrong to defend Lennon and Lawwell to the hilt back then. The warning signs to this season were there last year, a pandemic and a hun collapse papered over it but we were really poor last year, really poor when Lennon was scrambling last minute wins after taking the job from Rodgers.

You seem to be badly out of touch with the majority of the Celtic support on this.

Actually look, this is the stupidest row Iā€™ve ever been in. Iā€™m frustrated that Lennon is not only still the manager, he may even cling on into next season, thatā€™s all.
This other bickering is pointless, so apologies for that.

A quadruple treble in Scotchland is not to be sniffed at.

Any club can have a bad season particularly in these difficult Covid times. Coach Lennon after all he has won for Glasgow Celtic as both player and manager surely should be given the chance to turn things around next season.

Coach Lennon could still guide his charges to win the league this year.

The team has now won 4 games on the bounce and have 2 games yet v the leaders . Also the leaders have the distraction of Europa League .

This will be tighter than many think .
