Champions League 2014/2015 - Round of 16

I’m bowing out of the discussion. They changed it a few times I think. I don’t care. I care more about John Terry and Gary Cahill trying to foul eachother and missing Thiago Silva. There was a poetry in that moment.

Mourinho has just rung up Sky to see if he can be a guest on Goals On Thursday.

Ridiculous sending off there in Munich.

Clueless SPFL official Willie Collum in charge.

Fucking ruined the game, I thought the ref in the PSG game was bad, this cunt is worse.

Bayern looked good there, but the Shakhtar are woeful.

Casillas’s attempt to save that first Schalke goal was pathetic.

And the second.

It says a lot for the quality of the posters here that not one supports Chelsea.

A very enjoyable twenty minutes or so reading this thread. Did not see the game but reading this more than made up for it.

I’ve just read some of Mourinho’s post match comments. He claims it was easy for PSG After the red card - two banks of four and long balls for the counter attack. He’s also trying to get David Luiz suspended for the quarter final by encouraging UEFA to look at his alleged elbow on Costa.

He used to be entertaining but he’s just an utter cunt of a man now who will die a bitter bitter man.

was he watching the game? there was only one team using the long ball, and it wasnt PSG. This from Mourinho, who’s main tactic to get a late goal in his first spell in charge at Chelsea was to put Robert Huth up front. PSG totally outplayed them with a man down. Even Luiz changed his game, before when he’d get the ball 40 yards out, his first instinct was to take a speculative shot from too far out, but last night even when presented with decent opportunities to shoot from distance, he instead played it wide and kept possession.

RTE fairly sowed it into them last night too. Cant ever remember them going off on a team and manager as much as that ever before.

how Zlatan got a red for that I dont know. Reckless, yeah, but never a red whatsoever. The ref fucked himself over by setting that as a precedent. Costas tackle later on was worse than that.

great stuff last night

seeing the London huns going out was brilliant but seeing veratti star means my home country has a bright bright future

I fully expect Luis Saurez and Barca to give Man City a right chasing this evening

Absolute stunner from Tevez.

City attempting to kick Barca off the pitch so far.

That was a seriously inept effort at a tackle by Fernandinho
