Champions league 2016 - Round of 4 thread

He always seemed to like Torres though.

Bayern creating some really good chances in last few mins - better than the rest of the game.

Dunphys talking out his arse.

They should take him

It’ll be hard to ignore him.

Guardiola’s decision not to play Muller was very strange. I really don’t know why he did that.

Bayern under him have gone out at the semi-final stage to Real Madrid and Barcelona after conceding early sucker punch away goals in the second legs and they’ve a great chance of completing the set now.

Would worry a wee bit for Atletico if they can’t score in the second leg though. They’ve another must-win game at the weekend and can’t really afford to rest players. They could tire the way Juventus did against Bayern.

Will Godin be back?

I felt that Athletico needed a second goal tonight. but they will be hard bet.

Atletico Madrid have a collective golf swing like Jim Furyk’s octopus hanging out of a window - it’s not pretty, but it’s effective, Eamo nearly said.

Yes

As a lifelong defender in every sport I played I love watching Atletico. Their devotion to shape and work rate gladdens my heart.

Playing Alaba at centre-back when you have Benatia on the bench is even stranger.

Alaba is a top quality player, but he’s never a centre-back. Partly at fault for the goal, should have got tighter and would have been at fault if Torres’ shot had gone in.

I don’t see Bayern beating Atletico by 2.

All the fuss about Leicester has meant tonights game has been forgotten about. A dour 0-0 draw will do me which would make it 8 clean sheets in a row I think.

Atletico at 5/1 is too big surely?

Bayern look fairly juiced up tonight. Sprinting around like demented hamsters from the first whistle.

Guardiola is a weirdo.

Nice little slap by Juanfran on Lewandowski.

Pep has ruined Vidal.

Neuer will fuck up tonight.

Charging into bayern to quality 6/5.

Lawrenson is insufferable.
