Liverpool are great when the game is wide open and they can drop the ball into the space behind but when the tempo drops and they have to find the accurate passes to feet they look really average.
Some of the Liverpool passing in the last 10 minutes has been appalling.

Basically when Liverpool meet a team with any sort of defensive nous they are completely lost. A very bad man united team showed them up twice.
They can overwhelm a team for about 60-70 minutes with frenetic pace that puts the opposition off their game but if they havenāt made it count by that stage they are in big bother.

Real Madrid donāt really have defensive nous though. They have good individual centre-backs but the way they play actually suits Liverpool. Salah going off has caused a disruption though.
