We’ll need three here tongiht and we haven’t even created a decent chance.
Good play there. Eddy was unlucky.
sitter
Johnston our biggest threat.
Much better. Edouard should probably score but good movement and much more encouraging .
Celtic TV are in the stadium.
McGregor in midfield now. Maybe just in that passage of play
McGregor has looked very leggy in the early games so far. Surely a yellow for the dragback on Ntcham/Edouard there?
We’re a rabble at the back, we were holding a defensive line there on four different levels.
They’re so tight on Edouard and he really doesn’t like that close of attention.
That’s a really harsh yellow for Elhamed when you consider what they have got away with.
I don’t mind that. He’s well capable of rolling his man if he’s too tight.
celtic have no ideas
Maybe if it’s down the channels but most of the ball has been through the middle and there’s bodies all round him and he’s just passing it back 10 yards.
My stream has been iffy, I had been watching it on YouTube before it went tits up too.
You could do with winning the Last Man Standing so
Johnston and Forrest look dangerous when they square up their men. McGregor at left back has been a big call but it’s been a terrible one. Brown offers nothing in midfield, we need to take Brown off and get Bombscare Bolingoli on at HT. I’d say the odds are 30/70 against us to go through now.
That was a dreadful first half hour or so on balance. Much improved towards half time but they’re back in numbers now and it’s difficult to get behind them.
Not sure what we were at defensively at the start. We let them get behind us and wide every time they wanted which was exactly what they did throughout the first leg. Centre backs seemed sucked towards the ball and they weren’t long figuring out that McGregor would struggle on his own if they got him isolated.
Hard to know what changes we should be considering. Brown is probably the least likely to create or score a goal but that defence is already badly disorganised and I think we need him in front. He’s not going to be taken off anyway.
And that’s the problem, we need to to win this game and Brown is offering nothing but we can’t take him off in case we hurt his feelings.
I think he’s our best chance of keeping them down to one goal to be honest. He’s too important in how we play and organise ourselves defensively to take off. We need to be less reliant on him but we haven’t played enough without him yet.
