You look at the experience in their squad - i know Latvia arent great despite euro 2004 appearance - all the domestic lads playing here have been capped - then you throw in the likes of that dangerous lad up front the ukranian dembelko who is on loan from Kaparthy Lviv - theyre group stage europa league … i underestimated Riga tbh as the Vrsliga is a mess with match fixing and team going bust but Skonto appear to be a side who are streets ahead of the local competition
its an international squad as well - brazilians, poles, ukranians , serbs - its a mix of albeit journeymen but experienced pros
we just cant create this at all here - dundalk tried last year with Tagbajumi, chevdukas and adorjan but all are gone
