Manchester United went to Bilbao and beat Athletic Bilbao and knocked them out and then went back to Bilbao for the Europa League final and might as well not have bothered turning up they were so bad.
Inter Milan went to Munich and beat Bayern Munich and knocked them out and then went back to Munich for the Champions League final and might as well not have bothered turning up they’ve been so bad*.
*I haven’t been watching any of this.

I suppose there’s still some hope for Inter Milan here as the last time one of the Milan teams was involved in a Champions League final in a year ending in 5 and one of the teams went 3-0 up, that team ended up not winning the trophy.
You also wouldn’t trust PSG to defend a three goal lead with three minutes plus injury time left of a big Champions League tie when Luis Enrique is one of the managers involved.
There’s not much hope beyond those omens though.
