2, arguably 3 guys up front for Madrid who don’t track back and a 40 year old in midfield alongside an Englishman who plays as an individual, all big names. Ancelloti is so clever to get this game out of the way now and no one will question it when some of these guys are dropped due to team balance in the knock out games.
MBappe hasn’t looked as good to me since the World Cup. He probably isn’t a number 9 either. I don’t know did they need him or whether he and Vini are compatible. Saka would’ve been the job for them down the right, not as brilliant but works hard and always does the right thing in defence and attack.

You just knew Mbappe would be a disaster for Madrid but they can’t help themselves. They’ll figure it out eventually but just goes fo show how good a job City have done with their recruitment in comparisons

Dortmund could desperately do with a Sancho tonight
As a lifelong Madrid fan I really do look at how well city do their business and think what we could learn from them.
Mbappe is the new R9 at Madrid. Join a team who’ve just won 2 of the last 3 Champions Leagues but will transpire to not win it during his time there.
Arsenal’s season going up in smoke. Califoiri lad after going over funny on the knee. Came back on but had to go off again. Walked off fine, but I’d say he will miss a few games
