Liverpool are way more pragmatic now I think. With the defence and keeper they have, they don’t need to be in those see-saw games. They probably haven’t quite the same chemistry in the forwards these days as well compared to peak Klopp.
Must be Turin 99 since an Irishman had such a standout night in a champions league game.
Yeah the Klopp style was like a dopamine hit for the modern football fan because it was exciting and full of thrills and spills. Certain viewers won’t like the more patient possession based football. Albeit less than 45% possession at the weekend doesn’t really align with that statement. What’s really stood out to me so far is the absence of draws. Draws can be a killer in a title race, some can be good but so far Slot has managed to avoid any.
He is shit

Ronnie O’Brien?
It seems as if Pep has remembered Nunez is there and is going to knock a tune out of him.
Espanol used to play there when they were doing their ground up a few years back.

They played there permanently for about 12 years. The move wasn’t a success and they decided to build their own ground.

LOL
I don’t really know, pal. I’ve noticed it more lately but don’t know when it originated.
Liverpool had controlled most games up to the Chelsea fixture. It was a pragmatic move by Slot that in one way is a good contrast to Klopp who just stuck to his all out pressing game … which undid him last year.
But it also handed the initiative to Chelsea who i thought were meh really given how much ball they were allowed have.
Yeah Chelsea are still looking for the right combination of front players. Liverpool don’t need to dominate to hurt teams, as you say, Slot has recognised there’s more than one way to skin a cat. I don’t see Liverpool conceding much when they sit in against teams.
What did Ken Early say?
