Really good game. Ebbing and flowing with each team having great chances. Dortmund have played the better football overall and were quicker to settle but Bayern, mainly through Robben, have had some excellent chances as the half wore on. Gundogan and Reus have been great to watch and Lewandowski has the beating of both centre halves. But it looks like Bayern could exploit the space in behind Hummels and Schmelzer and they also have a height advantage at attacking set pieces. Both keepers have been very decisive too.
If this goes to extra time they will be crawling off the field. Worried for Dortmund now. HT could not come soon enough.
He should have…
If only he had…
He’s a painful cunt.
Tune in Sid , you are clearly blinkered if you cannot see that bayern are completey dominant
In that context it’s worth pointing out that Boateng has been almost equally inept at the other end - Lewandowski took him for a ride in the first half hour when Dortmund had possession in advanced areas.
Pattern of the half certainly swung towards Bayern but I didn’t think it was necessarily backed by any midfield superiority. Dortmund maybe dropped out of the game a little in the middle and couldn’t find Reus as easily and Lewandowski was dropping deeper to look for escape balls from the back but Bayern weren’t really all that great in the middle either.
Think Bayern decided to press the Dortmund defenders a bit more and that meant the easy passes through Gundogan to Reus and Lewandowski dried up and all of a sudden Bayern were picking up loose balls in the middle and the fragile looking Dortmund defence just couldn’t put much resistance together.
Two excellent goalkeeping performances.
Agree with all that. Dortmund are purveyors of champagne football while Bayern are a rich man’s Stoke City.
Dortmund had by far the better of the first 20 minutes.
Bayern have had the better of it since then.
It’s 0-0 and both teams have had periods where they were clearly the better team. So overall it’s pretty even, no?
Unfortunate ad placement:

Boateng is getting destroyed by Lewandowski. Hummels is creating problems for himself, there’s a big difference.
Dortmund are the team of the people.

No, in a final the team that defends best wins
Does that also apply if the game finishes 0-0 and goes to penalties?
I thought it was the team that scores the most goals?
What’s the story with Tony Kroos?
Is he on the bench?
That a good question

Don’t think so, had an op back in April and was expected to miss the rest of the season
Mandzukic is a heinous footballer, I hate him.
Ray, the imbecile, thinks Schweinsteiger drops back between the centre backs just to mark the striker. How was he ever a footballer? He’s clueless.
Kuba should have been breaking his neck to sprint outside Reus there and at least take Alaba away. He just jogged by him and offered no threat. They were making more of those sort of situations earlier.
Goal coming here
