Champions League Final Thread

No post 93 man united were the first English team to win a European cup. They also won the league European cup double. Something no other English side has achieved.

So the first European Cup was 1995, after football was formed in 1994, yes?

Bayern were German champions in 99.

Iā€™m not sure if youā€™re serious or just taking the complete piss?

Wait, they beat Lyon, who are better than Man City

There you go.

Iā€™d say itā€™s fairly obvious at this stage.

They only played 1 game to win the tournament? - that really devalues it

You handicap.

Fair enough, fuck it I wouldnā€™t mind a WUM myself but I wouldnā€™t be arsed taking it on a few days.

Gas cunts.

Thatā€™s the strength in depth in the English Premier League.

Preston North End were the first team to win the English Football League in 1888/89.

Preston North End were the first team to win the League/FA Cup double in 1888/89.

Preston North End are English football.

You should have stayed supporting Preston so and not jumped ship to spurs.

FAO of @caulifloweredneanderthal: in response to your query of yesterday evening, my final preference is for Spurs but Iā€™m not really fond of either team. That said, I may end up supporting either or both of them in the future.

 Outstanding

Should be the fucking motto of this place.

No problems mate. Iā€™d be rooting for the underdogs myself if I was a neutral. Spurs fans here are a decent sort, and theyā€™re one of the few away supporters that visit Anfield and donā€™t feel the need to sing songs about poverty.
