Champions League - Last 16
Yeah, it wasn’t as dire as is being made out. Fair play to Utd, that’s a great result. I still think Real will score away, but Utd showed they have enough to cause Madrid problems, but the looser the game, I think Madrid have more match winners.

How do you approach the game next time out if you are Fergie??
Madrid have to score so a set up like the second half last night, with Cleverly starting ahead of Kagawa, would probably leave Real open to being torn apart on the counter attack again.

Ah relax. I’m just disagreeing with you. I thought Modric had no impact on an average enough game.

They created nothing in the second half up to him coming on though. They got a nice few chances at the end when he started passing the ball around.

I was hopeful that that clown Pepe would concede a penalty when he came on. You can rely on him for nothing.

I agree, but it is a very dangerous game inviting a team like Madrid onto you- If they do score you then have to completely change your game and as I say, the looser it becomes I think that will suit Madrid. The joys of knockout football.

This is funny as fuck.

She badly needs a kick in the cunt.

Best of luck to Milan on Tuesday, I believe they have what it takes to win and Max Allegri deserves it.

Probably not the correct thread, but your apparent desire to connect with other folk via TFK disturbs me (miniscually)

Your attraction to Totti as a player mirrors your own persona, you’re both simpletons…

My sources indicate that “Robbery” won’t start tonight. Bayern are expected to leave Robben on the bench with Ribery and Muller on the flanks.

Muller has been in great form recently. He’s strangely under appreciated I think. Maybe not the most technical player but he’s really effective. Looking forward to watching Bayern tonight. They have serious strength in depth when you consider the likes of Shaqiri, Luiz Gustavo, Robben or Mueller as subs.

I’m expecting a stunning response from the great Arsene Wenger’s team tonight. 2-0 Arsenal.

Your lunchtime sources were correct. Bayern strong in 10 out of 11 positions with Van Buyten the obvious weak link.

Arsenal had started well but seem brainless on counter attacks. Kroos took his goal really well and Arsenal are struggling to protect their back 4.

The great Tommy Mueller makes it 2. Good header from Van Buyten on the initial corner.

Bayern switching the ball to their right every opportunity they get and exposing Vermaelen our there.

Surely this is the end of the road for Wenger? Chelsea sacked their manager in the aftermath of being embarrassed at this exact stage of the CL last year and went on to win their first ever CL.

Should have been 3 there. Vermaelen completely lost out there again and allowed Lahm all the time in the world to cross that.

Massive blow for Milan as Flamini and Nocerino have been ruled out tomorrow - they are already without De Jong so are very light in midfield. I assume they will go with a midfield three of Montolivo, Ambrosini and Muntari with Boateng playing an advanced role. Ambrosini had an immense game in the corresponding quarter final fixture last year but his legs are beginning to look a little less able for it this season and I’d worry about him. Flamini in particular is a massive loss as he has been in exceptional form of late and the intensity he plays at would have been a major bonus for Milan. Hopefully they can keep it tight tomorrow and not concede, hopefully taking a narrow advantage to the Nou Camp where they can welcome back all their absentees.

I don’t think that was much of an advert for changing your manager but the fans certainly seem to be losing patience. I think they’ll do well to improve on him but the calls for his head will be deafening soon enough. They were always going to lose this tie anyway.

And if things don’t go to plan we can always just call Barcelona drug cheats.
