Champions League - Matchday 4

Seems like it was a shit night of football.

That game in Donostia looked dreadful. Juve against Real was ok only.

First minutes of the second half were decent, aside from that it was poor enough

He’d have ignored it if it were against his beloved manyoo.

I can exclusively reveal that the Amsterdam ArenA roof will be closed for tonight’s game.

As a former regular at the stadium, I’m happy to answer any queries match attendees may have.

I wonder if Stokes will be dropped.

What are the toilets like?

The team should pick itself, the only question should be which of Mulgrew or Izzy gets the nod at left back. It would be silly to drop Stokes with Commons back as they have a good understanding and link up well.

Playing Samaras on his own up front would be retarded and a further vindication for those who believe Lennon is an utter shitebage of a manager.

1-1 at half time between Luciano Spaletti’s Zenit and Porto.

Zenit are a very nice footballing side. They were denied a stonewall penalty just moments ago, game looks like it will end 1-1 now.

Finishes 1-1.

Thought Zenit were very impresisve in the second half, they have a nice balance to their play. Porto’s two Brazilian full backs are very good players.

Balotelli has been dropped for Milan tonight.

Ledley left out for Mulgrew. I’m very surprised at that. Ledley has had a good few games under his belt now and he’s the best central midfielder available to us.

Mulgrew was excellent against Ajax in the home game. Thought one of Commons or Forrest would lose out to a Kayal, Ledley, Mulgrew midfield. And I’d have played Ledley ahead of Kayal if only one of those was to play.

I wouldn’t know - I was out having dinner that night. Hoping Balde gets a run later.

Prediction:

Ajax 1-3 Celtic

Stokes (2) Samaras (1)

I have yet to see Celtic not win a game when i have watched it in the Celtic club. Fully expecting another win this this evening

Asleep on our left flank so far. Sammy nit tracking and Izzy less than assured.

Sammy still ignoring their right back

Ones called Ronald

Good save Forster. Not sure if we’re intending to leave their right back in that much space with Mulgrew filling across but it’s not working anyway.
