Champions League Matchday 6

Clock beat us in the end. Just left ourselves with too much to do when we had them on the ropes.

Penalty for Ajax !!!

Rafa Benitez is a gentleman.

Higuain crying.

Napoli fans giving them a good ovation.

Do Arsenal top that group now?

Dortmund have won

edit - goal kick Milan . sorry

@Rudi
What is your opinion on the current Napoli team?

Ajax with a chance with the last kick but they miss it. Milan go through.

Milan cling onto a win. Ajax were pretty pitiful against a Milan team who couldn’t keep the ball.

Balotelli was brilliant in the last twenty minutes.

Nah, finish second on goals scored.

God only knows what kind of a cunt of a draw we get now. Utter shite tonight. Wenger needs another midfielder to replace that clown Arteta ASAP.

Good up front, light in midfield and poor at the back. Think Inter will pip them for third.

Napoli fucking around passing it backwards for ten minutes instead of going for goals… Pure dopes.

Lovely. Delighted for that cunt Wenger.

You need to work on your Hebrew mate.

Desperate bad luck for Napoli to go out with 12 points out of a possible 18. They can hold their heads high after what was probably the most competitive group in Champions League history.

Would never have happened under Mazzarri.

I thought they were shit tonight which really illustrates how bad Arsenal were. Any team with West Ham reject Behrami in its midfield is bound to be shit. Shame on Benitez for even playing the useless cunt.

Arsenal were there for the taking but Benitez yet again proved he is too defensively minded to win big games.

their failure to qualify was clearly fixed but nicely disguised

Behrami is a decent player. Hamsik was out tonight and he really makes them tick. From what I’ve seen of them this season I think they have regressed from the side they were under Mazzarri - granted they’d lost Cavani but Mazzarri’s 3-4-3 really had a solid defensive feel to it and was a good basis for them to pour men forward on the counter attack.

Benitez probably needs time to impress his game upon them as the majority of those players have become accustomed to the 3-4-3 of Benitez. I don’t particularly rate Mertens or Albiol but Callejon has been a good signing.
