Fuck. We’re not at the races at all here tonight. Nobody went with either the first or second run there, just standing square with arms in the air. Fairly embarrassing stuff.
Think Milan have done well since going down to 10 men. Competing well in the midfield and strolling it at the back, they are seeing very little of the ball but they look more threatening when they do get on it. Ajax’s attacking three are absolute pathetic.
Mattia De Sciglio has been magnificent.
Hard to see us turning this around.

I may be a bit reactionary but he’s been poor this season, hasn’t put in a proper effort again tonight and we don’t need him to win the league. He’s only really there now as a “big game player” but I think he’s living off that reputation and is nowhere near good enough to be walking around moaning every time he loses the ball.
We need to build a decent system with our players and Sammy doesn’t really fit any of those systems since Hooper left because it leaves us with nobody in the box. He is half hearted in his running with the ball, criminally negligent in his defending and the moments of individual inspiration are becoming less frequent and don’t compensate for everything else.
At the very minimum he needs a kick up the hole and told to put in a serious effort or he won’t be picked.

After reviewing it again, I am of the opinion that it’s a very harsh red card for Montolivo - it’s a lazy and late tackle but there’s no real force or danger to it, should only have been a yellow.
