Champions League Matchday Two

Asamoah and Vidal were absolutely shocking for Juve tonight, wasted the ball in promising positions time and time again. Juve badly lacking some quality further up the pitch, they really should do their best to get Diamanti in January.

Drogba > Pogba

Juventus are a despicable club, especially that loathsome Cunte.

With two matches to come against Royal Madrid and two for Bobby Mancini’s boys against Copenhagen, the criminals are staring down the barrel of a first round exit.

The Drog will condemn them to hell in the final match in Istanbul.

They are a shockingly overrated team and out of their depth at this level - the worst Italian team in the competition in fact.

One of the worst goalkeeping mistakes of all-time by the Victoria Pilsner keeper.

What’s the story with Javi Martinez and Thiago for Bayern? Are they injured?

Giles, Dunphy and Hamann are writing Moyes’ obituary already here.

Zlatan is the first player to score a brace of goals in a Champions League match for 5 different teams. Brilliant back heel by him in the build up to the Marquinhos goal too.

Just seeing that first Arsenal goal from last night now. Wonderful, wonderful football. The people who championed Arsene Wenger through the difficult times have been proved right. The Gunners look to be Bayern’s only challengers in Europe and Liverpool’s only challengers in the Barclays Premier League™. Arsene knows.

IMO opinion you are right tbh honest. Some people are very thick tbf fair. FFS sake.

Yeah both have had surgery and have been out for a couple of weeks.

Great to see Peter Collins justify his trip to Manchester by beating off the competition in the mixed zone to secure a Micah Richards interview.

What will happen to Lahm when they come back? Based on tonight he’s there to stay.

have you not just answered your own question there?..

It was Chedjou shouting at him to get up

I presume Lahm will revert to full back but you never know - Guardiola put him in central midfield in pre-season and he’s been terrific there.

Some amount of central midfielders of quality they have - Schweinsteiger, Javi Martinez, Thiago, Kroos, Lahm, Alaba can all play as the deeper midfielder and Kroos, Schweinsteiger, Muller and Gotze can all play as a more advanced one.

Toni Kroos must be the most versatile centre midfielder in the game at the moment, can play almost any role there. He was disciplined last night and broke up nearly every City attack that came through the middle with some thumping tackles, absolutely bullied Toure and Fernandinho, wouldn’t have been a side of his game that I would have seen much of

He was in Kroos control for the entire game.
