Champions League Round of 16

Another wanna be grease ball … Get a life .

whats become of you CM?

Having rewatched Abbiati’s save, all I can say is, the first save was great reactions, the second good, but given where the ball fell for RVP, where he landed after the initial save and how he landed, combined with RVP’s decision to chip it up, it was a relatively straightforward stop to make and he’d have been disappointed not to get something on it.

In summation, better than I first thought, but still not convinced it was great by any means. Apologies for the delay in responding.

Is CarlCarlson CM?

Would explain why CM hasn’t been seen on here since he got the internet beating of a lifetime.

He has a split second to react and get himself off the ground. Wonderful goalkeeping instincts saved a certain goal and the initial save was excellent as well.

Up your bollox you little fuck.

Welcome back mate.

You’re completely missing the point about how he read Van Perise’s intentions perfectly to spot he was going to chip him. Most keepers would have spread themselves horizontally.

Didn’t see the game but I am told that Kosielney was supposedly immense last night for Arsenal. Is this correct.

I was very impressed the night I saw him against Barcelona, he looked excellent but any time I have seen him since he has been decidedly average

Nah. Not buying it. But each to their own rocko.

It was fantastic goalkeeping, the speed at which he got up and smothered Van Persie, making the chip the most likely option was sensational. Abbiati is prone to some major errors but over the course of it he is worth his weight in gold. A compilation of his best saves would be some viewing.

I hope people will get off the back of Arsene Wenger and his project after the superb response he has got from his players in the last couple of weeks.

Apoel score early to level it up on aggregate.

A country with the population of under a million having a side in the last 8 of Europe’s elite competition? :o

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

Different fucking class

45 goals in 63 CL games

That young Leverkusen keeper is quite good but I think keepers should be expecting the Messi scoop finish by now. Maybe he was anticipating it but he was possibly standing a right or so too far to his right. It seemed to go by him rather than over him.

He stayed up big in fairness and didn’t commit which is what Messi wanted. Think you might be a tad harsh on him

A special special player

Routine brilliance by the greatest sportsperson of modern times
