Can anyone remember a player scoring a controlled chip like Messi got tonight off their bad foot?
The RTE clowns are right here about his modesty too. He seemed half embarrassed to be making a show of Leverkusen there tonight. No show boating or flash for the sake of it in the performance at all despite the ease of the game. An absolute legend.
Or “in my day” or “when I was playing”
FFS Johnny get over yourself
Chelsea, Stoke City, Wimbeldon all referenced when talking about Messi. We only know about EPL as our reference point according to RTE lads. It is like watching BBC Newsround for slow learners.
Houghton against Pagliuca.
Ailton is a fucking cunt. Between diving and constantly ignoring better place team-mates and losing the ball.
Doc on Messi on ITV 4 now. Hopefully his disgusting drug cheating is finally exposed
It’s a funny old game.
Bandage, please bump the penalty shoot-out alert thread when and if applicable
+1.
I was about to say Totti but then I remembered he hasn’t got a bad foot.
Goalscorer Manduca sent off for a second yellow. 3 minutes left now and Ailton is continuing to piss me off. Through for a strike on goal there but waited for the defender and needlessly tried to go back inside him and was dispossessed.
The tunes are pumping in Cyprus
Deadmau5.
Does anyone know why Sky Sports are permitted to show Liverpool-Everton live tomorrow night when it directly clashes with Champions League matches? You may or may not recall Celtic kicking off twice at 6pm late last season for ESPN live games because televised games in UEFA member leagues were not allowed to clash with Champions League matches. This contradiction has been bothering me to a certain degree since around 1.15pm today.
dont think that rule applies to diddy leagues like the EPL
Bandage I’ve been unable to get to the bottom of this mystery. Best guess seems to be that the EPL and FA must have applied for (and received) a dispensation.
It’s because European nights are never the same without a packed Anfield roaring on their heroes, and everybody who knows anything about football knows this. With our current absence from the Champions League aand the rather lacklustre line-up in that competition tomorrow night it made sense to give people what they want - a live telecast of English football’s most prestigious and storied match - the Merseyside Derby.
What’s with all the wannabe cockney bullshit?
why do you always fault find with my posts?
Because I despise you?
