What are all these games that Real Madrid under Zidane were battered in? Real Madrid have lost just 3 out of 33 games over their two winning campaigns of 2015/16 and 2016/17 and this season. One of those defeats was a 2-1 defeat to Atletico Madrid last season in the 2nd leg of the semi final, having already won the first leg 3-0.

There was a 2-0 defeat at Wolfsburg in the 2015/16 campaign and a 3-1 defeat to Tottenham this season.

That’s the point ! Their record is unbelieveble but they have been played off the park for big parts of some games .apart from the 3 losses off hand I remember dortmund , bayern and Atletico dominating them for large periods but either red cards, missed penalties pr the brilliance of navas kept them in it. . this in the context of @Bandage post about PSG doing something similar last night in second half and yet lose by 2 goals…madrid have near 20 really class players. A great mix of youth and experience. .
