Pleasing enough 1st half. We soaked up a massive amount of pressure around the middle of the half but completely dominated the last 10 odd mins or so. Couple of decent chances on both sides. Great 2nd half in store.

Just looking at it again, if heād just slid it low to the right of Neuer heād definitely had scored, Neuer had his left foot planted so firmly in the turf there was no way he was getting to it. The effort he did have may have ended up going wide or off the post even if it did clear Neuer.
Bayern certainly not playing very well here.
Theyāve controlled possession certainly, but itās a slightly negative midfield trio of Schweinsteiger, Kroos and Lahm and they havenāt forced the pace when theyāve been on top and in possession. A few individual decisions not to take on defenders too is hurting them. I think Rafinha and Alaba could be more aggressive in possession and they arenāt making the most of Mullerās aerial ability either by switching back centrally from decent crossing areas.
Mandzukic should be playing.
Compare how theyāve acquitted themselves here compared to how City did when Bayern visited Wastelands.

Yep I agree with this. Gotze on and Lahm out wide with Kroos deeper or even Mandzukic on, Muller deeper and Kroos deeper and Lahm out wide.
