I was thinking just before the penalty at the end that Oliver had a great game. He correctly denied Ronaldo the first half penalty. He was wise to the likes of Carvajal and Vazquez trying to get Mandzukic and Alex Sandro sent off on second yellows and he was right about the penalty at the death, as he was about other fouls all over the pitch. Outstanding officiating by the young Englishman - no wonder he’s @Rocko ‘s favourite referee.
