Champions League - Round of 8

He let his teammates down. He should have kept his composure, not got himself sent off and done his utmost to save the penalty.

Poor effort, even for you

Juventus President Andrea Agnelli demanded VAR technology in the tournament, but Chiellini thinks the situation is beyond that.

“It wasn’t an issue of VAR, because the referee still needs to have courage and a conscience. The referee must try to be less of a protagonist and give only clear-cut decisions.

“You could tell at the time it wasn’t a penalty, but seeing the footage back it’s just laughable. We must remember that we beat Real Madrid 3-0 on their own turf and only a crazy person would’ve believed that going in.

Gigi Buffon respects opponents.

Gigi Buffon stood with Irishmen and congratulated them warmly after they had fairly vanquished his men.

Ronaldo hit some penalty in fairness. He was delighted with it. A roguish celebration, gas auld chap.
