I’d include Mulgrew in the team, but at centre back. You expect the 4-2-3-1 then with the same front 4 as last week? I wouldn’t be surprised to see a 4-4-1-1 with Stokes left out and Mulgrew on the left with Samaras upfront.

An utterly cowardly selection from Lennon. He has once again shown himself to have a horrible negative streak as a manager. Stokes is continually unjustly shunned by Lennon and really should be looking to move on for the benefit of his career.

If we go out tonight Lennon should be sacked. This is the same manager who would persist with an out of form Hooper no matter what was at stake or what other viable alternatives we had. Not only is he dropping the best striker available to us, he is also taking our best player out of his most effective position and playing our second best centre back in a position where he is not as effective and he is accommodating an absolute bombscare of a defender with this rejigged line up.
