If it’s pissing rain so up to and including racing tomorrow then the ground will be very soft. Let’s put our heads together and pick out the soft ground horses and dour stayers in their races. Should be a few upsets tomorrow and well fancied ones turned over.

In the gold cup Sam winner, Coneygree and Many clouds will love the soft ground. Big negative on Silvinio Conti with doubts already about his stamina and also Holywell who may not even run if its too soft. I’d say Ted Walsh is sick after letting Foxrock run today, he would have loved the soft ground aswell.
If you look at the latest shows on racing post you can see that shrewd punters are latching on to the rain already. In the 1st race there’s a big gamble going on beltor and also Top Notch.
