Most frustrating horse to follow. If he can stand up and run to form then he’s not far off the top class. Easier said than done though

Yep Gavin lynch suggested that. I find that very odd. He’s apparently riding last years grand annual winner and some other horse as well.
Just listening to Michael Dickinson there. When he’d the 1-2-3-4-5 in the gold cup he’d only 55 in training.
He’d 12 winners on the 27th of December from 13 runners which is still a world record.
He ran four horses in 83 I think In Cheltenham and had 3 winners and the other horse was 2nd to one of his own.

Would the owners have much of a say when it comes to jockey bookings.
I’d say the morans will do what they are told tbh.
Just it’s a huge risk imo. He’s a savage talent but some difference to riding in naas or navan to fancied horses in Cheltenham.
I don’t think it’s a positive anyway for say the bosses Oscar.
Jack Kennedy is a class act and his experience is surely worth 7 pounds.
Yeah experience counts for everything, even Jack Kennedy had ridden out his claim by the time he first made his experience at Cheltenham. I see he is on Minella Indo in the Gold Cup.
He’s hugely talented but he’s really been parachuted in at the deep end. Presumably he’s never even schooled around there.

He could but I’m not sure how good these horses are he’s running either.
Some have been well fancied but accept your point
I know with flat trainers they isolate horses coming into a yard.
Gordon’s had a sickness at Christmas so it could be a worry. Usually on the flat they are kept away for two weeks.
