Cill Chainnigh v Tiobraid Árann - 2010 All Ireland Hurling Final

you have no business in Dublin this weekend…Ah wait I forgot you are pussy whipped

I’m going up for the dogs and to meet my good friend Julio. It’s merely a coincidence that my girlfriend is also going up for the All Ireland.

Will you all meet up in Copper’s on Saturday night to shoulder each other?

It promises to be the highlight of the weekend

Cool, see you outside the ladies’ shitters.

I’d imagine the queue for Coppers will be mental both nights?
I don’t do queues and I don’t fancy being in Coppers at 11pm.

She’ll probably drag you to the disco in the Burlo on Sunday night.

They tend to kick you rather than drag you outside the Burlo.

Tipp in from 11/4 to 9/4 with pp. That despite the hoopla about the Miracle Men of Nowlan park. Wonder if there is a betting coup in the air?

What kind of betting coup would that be?

I don’t know but my antennae are up

Sorry I meant to say it’s a big move when you’d expect the money to be going the other way

When is the dole out, could just have been a load of Tipp folk with a few quid to spend there in the last few days.

+1 I’ll be avoiding coppers like the plague.
Although theres a shower of latchicos coming up that will have nothing but coppers in their skull

Flannerys and Rody Bolands will be another two places that will have queues around the door. Rodys used to be a grand spot once you got in early for the night.

Plan for Sunday Morning

Up 7:00
Shit/Shower/Shave 07:05
Weetabix/Toast/Coffee 07:30
Sambo making supervision 07:30 - 07:50
Putting on the KK Jersey ceremony 07:50
Amhrán na bhFínn 07:52
Training session with the boys 07:53 – 08:15
Decision making process as to which of them gets to wear the KK jersey and who wears the Cork one 08:15 – 08:44
Quality time with the wife 08:44 – 08:45
On the road 08:46

Bring it!

I use the Cody rule, whoever is going well in training gets the jersey.

It’ll make them winners in the long run, you’ll see.

Expect to see a report in 20 years time of a Cork player(s) who always dons a KK jersey under the red one for good luck/fear of losing is fathers love and respect

 at least there’s some logic there. Mind you, you should really be repatriating them back up to Kierans as soon as they’re ready to go.

I haven’t read the whole thread but would someone be able to tell me why so many people here seem confident about Tipp winning?
