Clare Gaa 🐐 Thread mark II

TK is well able to work the refs in his favour, but he’s usually looking to operate in space so any dirty scelp would be pure obvious. Rare enough to see it in club hurling here anyway.

Kevin Moran will vouch for that

 Kevin was magnetically drawn to TK’s back

Kilmaley 0-4
Cratloe 0-5
15 gone, good contest in blustery conditions

Halftime
Kilmaley 0-5
Cratloe 0-9;

Cratloe had the breeze first half, although it’s gusting across the field at times. Some poor wides from both sides as it went on, Cratloe have missed a couple of handy placed balls from in front of the posts. They’ve also had the better goal chances, fluffing a couple of passes/catches when bearing down on goal. Kilmaley are very mobile though and are able to match Cratloe for pace in most areas. They’re not the biggest so lumping it long won’t suit their forwards, be interesting to see how both sides set up now.

Cratloe 1-11
Kilmaley 0-10
Rian Considine goal after Kilmaley had it back to two

Thirteen left.

Cratloe 1-13
Kilmaley 0-14
Four left

Cratloe 1-14
Kilmaley 0-15.

Into injury time. Play stopped for the last two minutes,l of normal time, ref adds on four

Cratloe 1-14
Kilmaley 0-16

Another stoppage after O’Malley’s point.

Cratloe hang on for the win. Kilmaley had a few chances to tie it up

Will Limerick be able to throw that one do you reckon?

Ah sure it’ll be on in a proper field this time, and they won’t have had the mammoth half-hour trek to contend with either. We’ll almost certainly lose the crucial battle for under the scoreboard again too. We haven’t a chance.

We will take Clare to Fraher field and do a number on them

Is that being considered this year?

capacity there Ray?

Yes it’s being considered according to the county board they are going to put up a serious fight for next years home games to be played in Waterford

15,000 they say

I wouldn’t imagine they’d have to turn away too many at that. Probably 20,000 would be the max anyway.
