Bizarre collapse but they seem to be doing it all year. In the league got hammered by Tipp, somehow managed to lose to Cork and really struggled to put away Kilkenny and Wexford when they were far the superior team. Nearly threw away what should have been an easy win against Waterford a few weeks ago as well. Ye’ll still give us absolute bags of it next weekend for sure. Conlon surely isn’t fit after today’s performance?
Wouldn’t indeed. Clare are just a bridge too far for us at this juncture. Gary Brennan is a nail-on for MOTM as we’re badly exposed for pace in the middle third.
We need to bench 3/4 and let youth have a cut at it - what’s the worst can happen?

We’re a bit diminished ourselves by the loss of Keelan Sexton stateside, have tried a few different square pegs in that round hole. Brennan did an amount of work in a kind of half-forward role the last day but I’d assume he’d be back out around the middle for this alright.
I’d be gone past the whole Murtagh’s scene by now @farmerinthecity, a few in Ging’s maybe while I catch up with a few old cronies from out Kilmore/Elphin side
Exceptional first half performance today, hopefully a home draw in the next round.

I’d say Clare will fancy a shot at making the Super 8s after that draw today.
They should beat westmeath and would fancy their chances against any of the beaten finalists.
Westmeath were the second-best team in Leinster for a good few years there so we can hardly take them lightly. Home advantage goes a long way in this match-up.
Wasn’t that impressed by Westmeath at the weekend. Limerick are limited but if we had a reliable free/45 taker we’d have gone close to beating them.
Will be interested in how they price it up. I’d strongly fancy Clare, even away from home.
Happy with the draw. Better than away top Amy of the other 4 div 1/2 teams. We won’t lack what’s required to beat westmeath
