Talk was that Lohan and Moloney might potentially join forces but that seems to have gone quiet. It appears that a number of the backroom team which Moloeny had provisionally assembled back in August is no longer available and he may well withdraw. Mulqueen may also withdraw it seems.
Nobody else really being mentioned in this. Looks like Lohan might be the last one standing - rumour has it the backroom team include Francis Forde, James Moran and Ken Ralph.

Clare were knocked out in June yet the executive dragged their feet and botched the whole thing. At least the clubs held them to account and called them out for it.
Fergal Lynch walked away from the minor management role due to budgeting constraints as well. Most progressive counties are appointing CEOs and business managers. We have two lads running the show in Clare who are unable to use email.

Any chance of actually ousting Pat?
I think the tide is starting to turn against him somewhat but like everything it takes time. He has a very loyal following of club delegates, a lot of old boys from West Clare who couldn’t care less about hurling will vote whatever way Pat advises them and vise versa when it comes to football.
29 years is too long for anyone, let alone a fella with no IT or delegation skills
