Very impressive last 15 from Scariff
Sad to think the great man is finished up for the year but such is the cut throat nature of championship hurling. He left his mark as he always does

Inagh, Clooney, Kilmaley and Eire Og top the 4 groups with Clonlara, Tones, Cratloe and Scarriff also into the seeded quarters.
NOF, Crusheen, Doora and the Mills into relegation.
Will Liam Sheedy get a call @peddlerscross?
Tasty draw. Eire Og v Tones the only one that’s clear-cut. Combo will be strong favourites but Cratloe’s old dogs for the long road could make life difficult for them. Kilmaley v Clonlara the tie of the round, Kilmaley favourites but Clonlara are a dangerous knockcout team and definitely capable of upsetting them. Scariff v CQ a great matchup too but can’t help feeling Scariff will fold once the big boy stuff starts.

Delighted to see all the bad blood after today’s game given all the obituaries written about hurling in Shannon.

Both parties know the deal.
It could be argued they’d as well off go down at this stage, but as their naysayers in Clare say, “when you think of Newmarket, you think Tipperary except slightly less modest”.
Great championship Clare is.
Eire Og
Clooney
Inagh
Kilmaley
Mills
Joseph’s
Eire Og the only cast-iron favs in those quarters imo, you could make a decent case for the other three second-place teams

O’Donnell’s last few games of hurling coming up.
Lovely stuff

The first round of the fight was in Cruise’s a fortnight ago, the second round was yesterday in Broadford and I can’t wait to see the 3rd installment of it next year. You couldn’t hit that Colin Guilfoyle hard enough
Round 3 should be in The Honk Bar.
