In not surprised about either. I thought mc was far from his best last week. Having got the ball in the hand a few times he was not able to create a shooting chance.

Ousting Davy would be ridiculous. He brought them to the all Ireland last year, for that alone he deserves another year despite mistakes.
From what the Clare lads seem to be saying though it seems as if he has lost at least half the dressing room.
It was criminal to allow Jack Browne be sent off when it was inevitable it was going to happen. I don’t think Domhnaill O’Donovan got a run? Things must be bad there when he has gone from certain starter to not even being considered as a sub? Surely he could have been put on for Browne?

Completely agree, he has fucked things up a bit. The higher expectations probably don’t help. But however bad he fucked up or not, his achievement with that team last year has to give him enough in the bank to be given the chance go rescue the situation next year.

I would like to see him move on, impossible to see it happening due to our co board "governance " structures , he certainly won’t walk
