Soft pitch and cold day didnāt make for a great game of hurling but there was plenty of honest endeavor in Sixmilebridge today. We probably should have won by more but Tipp did turn the tide with 15 to go with Bonner Maher adding plenty of impetus to their attack but the introductions of Conlon, Ryan and Flanagan helped see us home
Postives:
OāDonovan and Morey had solid showings in the two corners
Duggan went well at full back but was suited to the conditions
Conor Ryan had a very good game once he settled after a few poor passes early in the game
Galvin was excellent in the first half
Tots worked very hard and had a good game despite being not suited to the conditions, as did Bobby Duggan
OāHalloran had the better of his man all day
Negatives:
None of the wing backs or wing forwards ever really got going.
Cleary got on a lot of ball but his hurling/decison making needs to improve, but he is young
Golden isnāt a wing forward
