Making silage is a complex and time critical process. Sealing it from air after the first day or so is critical. Not possible on such a small scale.

It’s been tried but unfortunately led to mad cow disease and swine flu. You can no longer feed left over human food to animals. I remember when I was in UL a local pig farmer collected the left overs from the canteen every day. It seemed to work well, but not a runner now I’m afraid.

Was the mad cow thing not because they were feeding them dead cows though?

Can we feed them raw food, like skins and gone off fruit & veg

Yea, but as I posted here before everybody must find their own solution and feel comfortable in their own skin. We have all made mistakes. Laziness, financial, greed. We need proper direction that neither capitalism or communism (the two extremes) can provide. At the moment we’re resorting and directing our attention to a 16 year old child.

Make it illegal for people on the dole to go on holidays or own cars. They don’t need them and they shouldn’t be able to afford them.
