No. You won’t get me. No.

Am. Yeah.

Given every incentive under the sun to finish their education and even more, it won’t cost them a penny to do so. They refuse to give up any aspect of their ‘culture’ and you have the likes of Boy Barrett and the Shinners in Dáil Éireann to protect and propose every bit of legislation to suit travelers.
There are about five major feuds going on around the country at the minute, all of which involve members of this ethnicity and none of which will ever be condemned by Pavee Point.
There are quite a few of them living not too far from me and none, not one, of them work. None of them will be forced to go on a Solas scheme or a college course or anything that they don’t want to go on.
The Domino pizza made a story of the fact that the lad was a traveler but a story of wanton abuse in Cork never mentioned the fact that the protagonists, two utter cunts from Rathkeale, were travelers.
They are up to their necks in the drugs trade and control a huge element of it but you never hear that spoken of.
Housing is no longer about houses, but ‘culturally appropriate’ housing. This effectively means that a young family with both parents working, and I know one of such very well, fall in between the cracks when it comes to council housing or getting a mortgage but the ethnic cunts around the corner driving 191 Audis get a house built and because its ‘culturally appropriate’ get a couple of stables built for them as well. Travelers also don’t want houses, they want ghettos built where they house their own and no-one else. I wouldn’t blame the other couple for feeling very bitter towards a system that allows and supports such injustices.
Yes, there are good travelers. I’d be happy to have them live next door to me but the reality is that if they did move next door, your life will be henceforth a misery.

Any idea how we could make things better?

It’s slow…but more travellers are finishing their education, particularly women… But it’s a male dominated culture and a lot of father’s see no value in education for their sons… This needs to be chipped away at. Of course, normalizing travellers in main stream schools by teaching some of their history and culture might stem some of the discrimination traveller kids meet in the class room. There’s no quick fix, it’s getting a victory here and there by steering kids down the education path and hopefully workforce route after that.

There’s no appetite amongst the modern woke brigade to hear the reality of the situation like this.

We could treat them like every other citizen that lives here. Apply the same laws to them and give them exactly he same entitlements. The reality is that having them treated in law differently causes massive resentment amongst people who do not get the same entitlements. As in the case of the couple I mention above, probably the most unassuming couple I know who are rearing their children and paying their way in the world. They see a class of ethnicity driving the best of cars, getting fine houses and every Sunday going out for lunch when they can’t do it unless they plan weeks ahead.

There are more than enough laws in legislation that would deal with any discrimination so the introduction of more just makes things more complicated.

Schools allow traveler children to use the ‘culture’ bullshit to stay out of school for weeks when if you kept your children out would have you answerable to the principle.

I have and still do work with them and there are fine people amongst them but they are overwhelmed by a minority, a large one, withing their own community to abide by the ‘culture’ rules.

It should be mandatory to have your horse chipped. No chip, no horse, impounded.

God yeah, the woke crowd don’t like the oul racism one bit

Facts ain’t racism pal

The problem is that it is too easy for the traveller community to blame it all on the settled community. As soon as they say bullying or racism they get left alone

so be tougher on people facing social exclusion is your answer?

Not what I said at all.

Exactly your own attitude when it comes to car drivers though…
