Club Championships 2017

Agree absolutely. Still, Iā€™d take the fine if it was my club.

Wonder who reported it
Did the other crowd have 15 for the full game?

Pretty sure James McCarthy was celebrating on the pitch in 2016

15 for the entire game. Daryl Flynn is an idiot

The first quarter of the game passed off without much incident, with Moorefield leading 0-3 to 0-1 ,but the game exploded into life in the 16th minute. Man of the match Kevin Murnaghan was fouled while shooting, winning a penalty.
Adam Tyrrellā€™s effort was saved by Shane McNamara and before he could slot home the rebound, Mick Konstantin made a superb intervention to put the ball out of play for a 45. Before Moorefield could take that 45, captain Daryl Flynn lashed out at former intercounty team mate Fergal Conway and was shown a red card.
David Whyte suffered the same fate two minutes later after clashing with Paddy Brophy.

Was he captain?

That is some bottle job

No, but does that matter?

Rule states - any player sent off in a final is barred from participating in the presentation ceremony.
That includes someone who picks up a black card for a relatively minor offence.

The presentation ceremony is the presentation of the trophy. Was he presented with the trophy by the President of the Association?

Flynn is a fucking clown though, heā€™s been sent off umpteen times. He was up for a 6 month ban once for going at a referee.

Kildare midfielder Daryl Flynn could miss next yearā€™s National League after a six-month ban was proposed for him by the Leinster Councilā€™s CCC.

The proposed suspension arises from an alleged altercation with Longford referee Derek Fahy after last monthā€™s AIB Leinster club SFC first round game between Moorefield and Portlaoise at Oā€™Moore Park. Flynn had been sent off late in the game after receiving two yellow cards.

ah ok getcha - I would have thought presentation was the walking up the steps to lift the trophy.

But that makes it even more ridiculous

Its one of those archaic GAA rules, but its definitely known about.

Still though, a captain and a vice captain to be sent off midway through the first half of a county final, I mean good fuck.

Moorefield set down an early marker and hit everything that moved in the first 20 minutes. Paddy Brophy got an unmerciful box after 5 minutes and didnā€™t want to know the rest of the game. Even with 2 extra men, Celbridge persisted with over and back football afraid to take it into contact in case they got busted again. Soft townie cunts. Celbridge have 5 on Kildare team, Moorefield have none.

How did I miss that

Is there anything better than the Junior and Intermediate Club Championships?!! 9, maybe 10 sent off!

Shit enough selection mate.

Big stuff next weekend with the Slaughtneil and Omagh showdown.

heavy enough shots there today with Crossabeg in green and Man O War in yellow. The 15 for MOW and their water carrier notable cowardly shots. One of the Crossabeg lads kept in hospital overnight for getting a blow to the head in the melee here.

Your man in black takes some hit from a yellow jersey at 19 sec.
lots of cowardly digs too.
