Deplorable standard in Connacht here.
Two fairly defensive teams so was always a good chance it would be a dour encounter. That early penalty might prove crucial.
They feel they didn’t get a whole lot the last day either. After the first red card, which was obviously harsh they claim the next 9 frees* went to Loughmore.
*or 9 of the next 10. I never bothered to check out the accuracy of this either.

That may be the case but after the near universal condemnation of what went on after that particular match and throw in Mahoneys comments midweek about “Nice teams win nothing” when questioned about the two sendings off,I wouldn’t be too confident of getting any 50/50 decisions if I was from Ballygunnar.
