McManus was brilliant in defeat. But Slaught deserved that from the off

You know a game is good when the father rings you immediately after it

If Sleacth get out of Ulster theyll need to work on defence. Poor enough for most of the when ball went in

We played in Celtic park that day. Got absolutely pumped by Sean Marty Lockhart and Co. Watched the end on a phone while having the roast in the ground.Brendan Maher was class that day.

@Plastic_Paddy had an eventful journey back to Belfast after.

Were there half a dozen frees in the whole thing?

Delighted for 2 reasons, Cushendall got beat and it showed all you cunts that there is hurling in Ulster!! What a game.

I see there are fellas who consider themselves an authority on hurling in the summer who spent the evening watching a rugby friendly in Paris, the poor misfortunes. That was everything you want in a hurling game. The game demonstrated the Incredible depth in the Down hurling referee panel as well.

You should just tag the likes of @Locke and @iron_mike and be done with it… imagine watching a rubby friendly over that game tonight

Jaysus that was something else. Slaught totally deserved it. They’d give a lesson to lot of senior teams in the traditional counties.
Mcmanus was everywhere, one point he cleared a ball in his own full back line and I expected him to be at the end of it in the opposite 40. Oh and that cushendall manager looked an awful fool
