Right, he did some job. Liatroim lost a great guy during the summer, Terry Cunningham. He was from Ballycastle, taught in Assumption Ballynahinch. Moved to Liatroim years ago and had a massive heart attack during the summer. Great hurling man.

Great game. One of the main reasons for this was the ref leaving his whistle in his pocket. I was hoping for a Ruari Og win as the Burkeās people hail from my own parish.
A man thought of very highly. The oldest club in Down, and they are not shy of letting you know that. They are a proper outfit, taking a team over to play on their surface is always an honour.
By god, tis a Galway name but I never made the connection. Is that east Galway?

The split season zealots are an awful touchy
Bunch.
Destroyed the club and county game and now getting all hot bothered when people lose interest.
And letās call a spade a spade. There are far too many games. Iād much rather a properly spaced club county championship if it meant the scrapping of these club championships.
They just encourage super clubs and ārosenbourgā situations from what I can see.
They had their place on st Patrickās day but now they are just drifting like a lot of the gaa tournaments.

I had to go down to the pub for the āaftersā of a christening at full time in Normal Time and thought you could stick a fork in Slaughtneil the way the game had ended but they were like lions the way they came out and gobbled up everything in Extra time.
Apart from McManus who was phenomenal, the rest of the Cushendall forward line didnt do enough. The athleticism of Slaughtneil is freakish though and their stick work and shooting was of an elite standard on the night. Rodgers, McGuigan x3 and Meehaul McGrath are all officer class too which makes it easier for the young lads to fall in behind. McEldowney and OāMianan have bright futures ahead of them.
For anyone into punting, it was another classic of the genre that you should always take the shorter price on the āto qualifyā market rather than bank on the to win one.
Slaughtneil will win the Ulster final by whatever they like and will relish an All Ireland Semi Final v Muster Champions pre Christmas. They havenāt looked as good as the day they should have beaten Ballyhale in Newry.

Neil McManus listened as a forwards coach in Davys management ticket.
Iād say heāll be hoping he adopts a player / coach role surely.
The row on the way into the dressing rooms after 60 mins was exactly what Slaughtneil needed - instead of being despondent they were reinvigorated.

These young lads are serious hurlers though.
The McKaigues arenāt hectic stickmen and not as much of a loss as I thought.
It would be a little bittersweet if they went on to win it without Chrissy in particular all the same.
It is some achievement by both players and coaches to be able hurl at that level without having any real proper county championship.Just shows the value of the BOICMC I suppose.
There wonāt be an ounce of regret if they go on and win it without former stalwarts, every Baloooba knows his own place in the system.

He is. He was a teacher and packed it in to be the GPO in his club. People dont realise Slaughtneil is a crossroads in the Sperrins. They are not even their own in their own parish, they share the parish with Swatragh. Some club,
