Club Championships 2024

The commentators :joy:

In fairness, club hurling standard has never been particularly high. Three club All Irelands is all that’s ever come out of the county and pushing forty years now (all from North Tipp clubs I might add).

Thomastown in serious bother here … 3 down and a man down

BG are a serious outfit but the L/C management setting up as they have is just bizarre.

If you let BG spray it about they will destroy you. Have to go man for man and win it. As they are, you can’t win.

Not too many dual counties playing as many games as they have. They’re stuck to the ground there.

I wouldn’t read that much into wrt overall club strength.

It’s very hard to get a read on Waterford club hurling, for example. Ballygunner are very very strong but the only thing that says is about themselves.

Ballygunner would have gotten swallowed up and spat out last night, they wouldn’t have been able for the whistle-absent referee at all.

Have a day off lad :joy::joy:

It’ll be between them both alright

If I believe it and say it enough, it might come true.

They’ve about 1-20 from play here scooby

They’re hitting nice scores but LC aren’t near enough to them at all. So much space

Alan Mangan giving a managerial masterclass. Didn’t realise he was such a hurling man too until recently.

Niall O Brien has 10 points, he’s purring

There was about 70 scores in the match last night parts were like non contact there was space all over the field

Toome in the 90s and Thurles in the 2000s/10s are the two teams that probably should have won it out.
