Club Championships 2024

I guess it’s where housing estates are built isn’t it? Can be cyclic too. Areas tend to grow old together too so a cycle element to it.

There were two (small) housing estates built in the parish during the 2000s, one in Ballyhale and one in Knocktopher. A help – but not a massive factor, I would say.

That’s very true. The lads I would’ve looked up to in the senior team 15-20 years ago are now helping out with their own kids at underage and you can see another strong generation coming. Most clubs take their eye off the ball a little at underage when they’re strong at adult level but then replenish again. The real gem’s are the clubs that manage to bring along a couple of players every year to replenish the first team, even when they’re not winning underage titles.

You’d be amazed what you can get out of a losing B team

John Meagher back for Loughmore for the Munster Club apparently. Big boost.

Waiting to hear from my man on the ground for a full report on a BOICMC game with Clough Ballacolla in Dr. Morris Park last night.

Spotted Picky earlier. He had a lovely spring in his step. I’d say he did wreck.

Does anyone have the Connacht club intermediate football draw to hand?

Would you try the Connacht GAA Website maybe

Great to see the growth of gaelic football into the most unlikely of areas, hopefully Conahy give it a right go and are able to do themselves proud.

If Galway and Elphin were to reach a Connacht Final does anyone know what the likely venue would be?
