Club Championships 2024

Suiting NCW at the moment.

Would this be considered a local derby in Wexford?

A very local derby.

Would there be an edge to it?

Martins powered away last few mins before the half there.

Poor first 20 minutes. Martins showing bit of class now

Lomans beating Dunshaughlin comfortably, the standard of Meath club football is very poor - a senior meath side havn’t done much in the Leinster championship in a long time?

Yep you’re right .dunshaughlin won a Leinster around 2003/2004 I think .think Walterstown won a club many moons ago

A poor record - Meath football has gone back an awful lot across the board

That’s some smack on Dee O

Creased him.
You’d give him the benefit of the doubt maybe that he was kind half pushed into him. But he’s a lucky boy

The goalie :flushed:

Ah jaysus. The keeper made some bollox of that. Fair play to the ref for actually allowing him to be tackled

I don’t even know his name but I hate this lad with his socks pulled up

Port have missed a sight of chances and conceded 2 goals before half time to trail Tinahely 2-3 to 0-6 in Laois Hire O Moore Park. They’re down 4 starters since the Laois final, the 3 county men gone back to picking fruit in Australia and Eoin McCann emigrated to America.

A lovely few slaps at half time too.

And Jake Foster heavily strapped too.

The Laois Wicklow enmity is one of the more niche GAA rivalries

Reverts back to the battle of Aughrim in '84 I think…

Ah it’s not really. Aughrim was a mugging but there’s been little or nothing since then.

Foster on one leg after kicking two points. He’s your typical cocky cur of a corner forward and he’s dancing, awkwardly

Scór iontach ag Rory O’Connor.

Could be the nail. Anne’s will need a goal fast

Back to three with three left. The keeper is going to feel like some cunt if that’s the only difference at the end
