Sign of early onset Alzheimerâs: I glanced very quickly at the GAA fixtures yesterday and saw Naas v Cuala listed and assumed in my subconscious it was hurling. Iâm only now realising it was football and that I would have liked to have attended this match.

Newbridge is a great venue for Club Football matches. Eire Og seemed to play most of their matches there back in the 1990âs when they were in their pomp.

Gaelic football is a bloody great sport when teams donât play with 14 behind the ball.
This is one the best Gaelic football matches Iâve watched in years. Certainly the first in a long time I havenât fallen asleep watching.

The skills of the game are very good here and brilliant commitment. These new rules could well bring Kildare football back in from the wilderness.
