Clubber TV

Lads should be supporting Clubber and fuck iptv on this one. It’s an unbelievable service. A ridiculous amount of matches on it. Camera work is almost always good. Commentary is enjoyable too. Great to hear local accents and local knowledge.

I appreciate the hypocrisy here but i’m ok with dodgy boxes if it is the likes of Rupert Murdoch and Disney that are getting rode by them.

Thats the best thing about local commentary.

Its a no brainer. Same lads will winge incessantly when the service hits the wall and not having contributed a penny towards it.

The commentary is regularly gold.

Clubber having nothing to fix :man_shrugging:

It’s handy to have in the phone so a sub is good value.

Limerick were streaming the Effin and Garryspillane in October. I’d wager good money I was the only lad on the concourse in Anfield watching the penalty shootout :joy:

Will it take you long to fix ?

I know how they’re scraping the feeds and how they’re distributing them but I am not a supplier of Clubber or IPTV so it’s not for me to be getting involved in :man_shrugging:

You think SKY cant?

They’re loosing millions sure.

Cluuber will still be on the dodgy box until they use a website that can’t be defeated by a firefox extension to scrape the feeds.

Exactly what i was thinking …

Losing. And they’re not doing nothing about it.

I should have posted this here.
The last few paragraphs relate to Clubber.

Only in Ireland. Fellas ringing clubber to lambast them about not being able to access the right match on their dodgy box. Or maybe that’s a TNH.

It happened alright. There were a few cribbing about not being able to access Limerick and Clare in the Munster league.

  • In recent weeks, Mr Doyle said efforts to counter piracy have included deliberately posting streams of older games that were subsequently picked up by illegal IPTV services. He said the move was intended to disrupt pirated feeds - but it also prompted a backlash.

Mr Doyle said he received phone calls from people using dodgy boxes, complaining that they were no longer able to access the correct games.

“The amount of activity we got on was pretty significant in terms of people ultimately calling us out and asking us, in fairly colourful language, what’s going on in our service. We obviously had the correct game going to all our subscribers,” Mr Doyle said.

“That amount of noise was a bit of a wake up call to us to realise that just how many people are actually accessing the games from illegal sites.”*
